Sorry guys, but I'm going to have to do a lot of editting in this thread if you want it to stay open. Post desktops without illegal files or file-sharing programs on your desktop. I think Winamp and the playlists can slide, but shortcuts to files and file-sharing programs are not acceptable. - Madoka

hit the "print Scrn/SysRq" button next to the F12 button.

You forgot to mention that hitting Print Screen/SysRq only gets a snapshot of the screen. You need to actually go into some sort of picture editing program like MS Paint and paste it.

pfft, you should have seen it before I reformatted a few days ago, 1280 x 1024 resolution and over half the screen full with icons, around 100ish. I used to not be able to stand it, but I got lazy about going through other menu things, so now pretty much everything goes on the desktop.

I have my toolbar set to auto-hide. To do that just rightclick on your toolbar, go to properties, and click autohide. Either that or uncheck lock toolbar, then resize your toolbar so that it's not showing.

Currently, my only non-obsolete comp is my laptop so yes it is. And that's not music match with the anime background, that's winamp (stupid MPC files only playing on winamp :Sweat). I have both winamp and music match open and both playing ^_^

Hahaha..I promised my parents good final grades, so I built my comp/workstation early. I went w/ Xeons though, and then RAID arrays. Used an old VAIO case too, because it has built in AV inputs/CATV thing, and it looks nice too. I need an actual sound card though. Integrated just doesn cut it.

But why 2 DVD Burners? The new dual-layer ones are out now too.

Xeons? Aren't those insanely expensive? Anywho, they're only 75 bucks each, and it's useful to have dual drives. I could probably get by with one, but... Meh... Also, the only dual-layer drive out right now is a Sony, and others won't be out until the fall...

You need to find a webhost. If you have an AIM screename then you already have 20mb waiting for you at Mywebpage.Netscape.com (http://mywebpage.netscape.com). Just sign in with your aim screename and password then upload files (Under "File Manager"). Then come back here, and paste the link to the image.

NO!!! Don't use WindowBlinds! WB themes hack files too much and really screw things up. Use StyleXP instead, and browse deviantART or any customize site (customize.org for example) for "Visual Stlyes." They are natural to Windows and don't require hacking of important .dll's like WindowBlinds does.

If you want something light and are concerned with the amount of resource usage go for Miranda because it is very light. If you aren't concerned about that, then go ahead and use Trillian. It has better skinning abilities and plugin support anyway. :)

Finally changed my desktop... I used to change it once every hour, then got lazy after doing that for a few years. :)
