Do like I've done. Take your favourite DVD, jump to a nice looking frame, capture the image, scale on photoshop. It doesn't really matter if the picture is a bit grainy, since film usually is like that anyway. Of course you can soften by copying the layer, adding a gaussian blur, bringing the opacity down and possibly changing the blending to screen. I'll add my own screenshot here later to illustrate my point.

I prefer the mac mouse, they're less complicated than the PC mice. I haven't used the mighty mouse. Whats this about slower than a PC, they're most of the time faster than a PC, if not the same speed. (If your OS is up to date, of course)

They're a lot easier to navigate, and I love the drag and drop feature.

And, And...they're prettier.

Inverted colors for reduced eyestrain. It works quite nicely for surfing the web, chatting on IRC/MSNM, etc. Makes for interesting picture viewing, though. 'course, I can toggle the invert with Command-Option-Control-8, so I can change it back easily when I want.

(note: the dual monitor .png's weigh in at almost 1.8 megs a piece. So eat your heart out, dial-up.)

I'm working on replacing the Windows logo on the Start menu with an Israeli flag. Still fighting with Bill Gates on that one... If anyone's done that before, using Resource Hacker to edit the images embedded in the explorer shell executable file, please send me a PM. It's being mean to me. :(

If you haven't noticed, I'm not the most organized person with my icons... I've even had them spill onto the second monitor before. But my room is worse. Trust me.
