Does anyone know of zombie themed anime? Something like Resident Evil or Dawn of the Dead

So far there hasn't been a zombie anime whatsoever to me... try Devillady or some horror anime genre

Hmmmmm. Well Hellsing had zombies in it but it was more vampireish.

Doesnt 3x3 eyes have a zombie?

There might be some horror animes with them, but things like Resident Evil I dont beleive so

Vampire Hunter D and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is mostly vampire-like, but it has its fair share of zombies.

If you look back into the 70's or 80's, you MIIIGHT find one. If so, it would be cheap-ass and not worth your buy.

Eh, Hellsing has some decent zombie moments. That's all I know of, though.

There is a manga series called high school of the dead which is very much like the 28 days later movies and the -of the Dead movies by Romero. to me It's just a japanese verion of The Walking Dead Comics by Image

Try the new series: Zombie-Loan.

lot's of zombies in that one.

Also you could try some of Kawajiri's anime like Devil City Shinjuku or Dark City. It has an assortment of monsters.

There aren't many zombie anime in the style of Dawn of the Dead, but most horror and fantasy series to have some zombies in them

Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou: Tou, which finished earlier this year (I think), focused on a group of high school students fighting off some sort of demonic invasion that included a lot of zombies. I never finished the series, but the animation and action was quite good. I just couldn't endure the annoying characters anymore, so I stopped watching.

Now, if you don't mind reading manga, then Highschool of the Dead will definitely be worthy of your time if your into Romero-style zombie thrillers/horrors.
