I'm actually really liking the Kisame vs Team Gai fight. Mostly becaue its just a mirror (with different circumstances) of the initial Team 7 vs Zabuza fight. Except, rather than Gai being trapped in the water prison...Lee TenTen and Neiji are trapped.

Sadly, theres no manga next week for Naruto, so we'll have to wait 2 weeks to see what happens with Gai vs Kisame and Kakashi vs doucheba..er..Itachi.

On what page did it say that Gai opened 8 of 9 gates? I don't ever recall that happening. I do know he opened some gates, but how many, I don't know.

Plus, I agree with realist. The start of the fight was cool. I was eager to see Gai go crazy with those nunchucks. But then he basically ditched the idea and went DBZ instead. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If those Ninjas start to fly and shoot energy beams, I'll most likely have to stop reading.

You are mistaken :\ View gate is only the 6th gate. I mean, its still a feat for Gai to open 6 gates at once, and it was quite a fight. But if Gai opened all 8 gates, he would surely be dead.

Calm down already. We were only saying that one particular scene showed a very DBZ-ish quality (you can't deny it), which seemed incredibly lame. I don't think the show is like DBZ at all, but there are a few moments in the show that really do make it lame, by seeming almost identical to DBZ.

And while this is a random note, even though I like the manga better than the anime, has anyone seen episode 133 of the anime? It completely blew me away! It completely bested the Rock Lee vs Gaara fight! The animation was staggering!! It's my favourite episode so far. And in the next episode, the Naruto vs Sasuke fight is supposed to end.

Then from a moving perspective behind Sasuke they show Naruto jumping onto a cliff, running towards Sasuke and jumping off the cliff to kick sasuke out of the frame.

I hate to say it, but I think this is the first episode that really,in my mind, bested the manga.

Hey, I wouldnt feel ashamed. While the manga can best the anime in just about every aspect, fight scenes are one thing that an anime can do, what a manga can't. Especially when you have super smooth animation like that episode. I loved the part where the chain of Narutos threw Sasuke into the wall, then Sasuke burned them all up, as well as the part where all of Naruto's clones are jumping at Sasuke from different directions, and when Naruto's Kyubii arm pulls Sasuke toward him.

As for an earlier comment about Sasuke's wings and Chidori being like an energy beam. They are somewhat alike, but different. When you think DBZ, you think about huge energy auras that tear up the landscape, gold hair, Super Saiyans that can fly without wings, and warriors shooting energy blasts, blowing up the landscape. Sasuke actually had wings for a moment, which made sense for him to fly. That didn't remind me of DBZ, more like some kind of story with a half demon hero, like Devil May Cry. And at least chidori doesn't go along long distances. If it shot out of his hand in a beam, or even in a ball-like form, that would be extremely similar to the lame energy beams of DBZ. The reason why I didn't like that scene with Gai, was because it showed the same lameness of a DBZ guy powering up and demolishing the landscape. And if anyone says "Well, Rock Lee powered up, and you liked his fight"; in fact, I loved the fight and it's super smooth animation until that happened. After that, I lost some interest.

Yeah, I know it's a manga thread. Please excuse my giddiness about the fight. Lol.

And really, I don't expect flying or energy beams. I'm just saying that I've seen a few quirks about the show (powering up, Sasuke growing Super Saiyan Hair, Power Struggles with Chidori vs Rasangan, etc...), and I'm hoping that there aren't many more DBZ traits. One of the things I love about Naruto is that it mostly strays away from being like DBZ in every aspect. Character Development, Plot, Animation, a lot of the fighting techniques, the different settings, themes and messages are all better. But I don't want the show to lose depth, which is why I hope that Gai's powering up is the only similarity to DBZ. I don't think of the show as a DBZ knock off, but if they keep adding elements like that, it will sure resemble one.

For the third time, if you're listening, I'm saying the show isn't like DBZ (right now), but if he gets more 'inspired' from the same source, it could very well mimic it. That was my only point. I know I've had moments, where I wished what I was writing was close to a favourite show of mine. Eventually, I would realize, and think, "what the hell am I doing? My writing is far too close to my favourite show. I'm basically recreating it" and scrap the idea. We can recreate it subconsiously, or even as a small secret desire. Sure we won't mimic it exactly, but we can make our work closely resemble something else.

And yes, it wasn't his only source of inspiration, but it was also an important source. This isn't bad, but IF (I'm not saying he will) he gets too inspired by it, to make it closely resemble DBZ by making the characters fly and shoot energy beams, I may have to stop reading. I'm not bashing the manga, but letting out a slight negative opinion, which may make me see the series in a different light if it strays too much from the formula that Kishimoto's created so far.

It's a change that could make the series lame. I don't know if you've ever played these games, but could you imagine if Metal Gear Solid (the most popular stealth action game) on the playstation, just gave up it's stealth elements and was just a mindless shooter? It would lose it's individuality. It wouldnt be the same thing. While there are action scenes in the game, it's main content is stealth. If we made it all action, it would be no different from syphon filter, which I felt wasn't as good of a game, but contained some of the same elements. It could have very well happened if the creator of the game, was clearly more interested in the action elements, but added the stealth to make it different, then decided one day, that it would be more action packed to leave the stealth out. I'm trying to use as close of an example as I can, between two different products.

The same thing here. If the creator of Naruto thought one day, "you know, these superpowers are really cool, and brought me the same kind of satisfaction from watching DBZ. I'll add more and more powers". Eventually, the world of Naruto as we know it has changed in favour for his desire to create something similar to something else he really likes. I'm not saying this would happen for sure, but IF it did happen, I wouldnt want to read it anymore. Case closed.

I'm not accusing you in particular of anything. If you'll notice, in my posts I very purposely avoided naming anyone in particular.

That being said, I think your fears (I believe that's the correct term) are completely unfounded and there is absolutely no danger whatsoever in the characters starting to fly around and shoot energy beams. The very idea is ridiculous and no more likely to happen than one of them dying and coming back to life with a cute female avatar of death as his guide/assisstant. It's absurd. Coming full circle then, you can see why I get annoyed by this when people refer to it, whether they're being serious or not.


And on your other point, I understand how we can be subconsciously influenced by things. But, when you're writing something of this magnitude, any and all of that influence is strictly controlled by the amount of revising and editing you have to do. And, not only that, when you get down to the real heart of the matter, what Kishimoto meant when he said he was inspired by Dragonball was that he found a manga that he loved and enjoyed, and wanted to draw one himself someday that other people would love. He could have just as easily been inspired by Urusei Yatsura (if he was, no one would ever cite it as a reason for comparison, I assure you), or still have been inspired by Dragonball and written something like Love Hina. He was inspired in his career choice, not in his writing.

I just read Chapter 259 of Naruto. Nothing particularily interesting happened. Just a weird Genjutsu that Itachi uses on Naruto. I didn't get where Sakura was coming out of. The front of Naruto's jacket?...Anyway, the next issue is supposed to be the end of the Itachi fight, which is relieving and dissapointing at the same time. It's relieving because I hate it when fights drag, but dissapointed, because nothing really exciting has happened so far.

And Sakura didn't come out of nowhere; she was there all along, but Naruto didn't see her because he was trapped in Itachi's genjutsu almost from the start.

I just read Naruto 260. The fight was alright. Somewhat of a repeat of the first Kakashi vs Sasuke fight. But I do have to say, that the Double Rasangan was very cool, and really looked like it hurt. There's one thing I don't get about this chapter, and that's how the Itachi and Kisame fakes disguised themselves. Did they use henge to transform into Itachi and Kisami? Or what kind of disguise did they have going on there? It just confuses me because Itachi, Sasuke, Kakashi and one other have the Sharingan, and I doubt the other was a guy that could fall so easily.

Thats why Kisame and Itachi were sitting on a cliff somewhere else. They were using some strange technique that makes some random guy look exactly like them. It also seems that they have good control over their pawns also.

As strange as it seemed, it did make sense. The copy-Itachi did say that he litterally could not use the sharingan against them, and with good reason. A very interesting chapter more than anything. Although it was nice to see that Naruto is still coming up with wacky new techniques.

It was a possession technique, belonging to that guy whose shadow is all we ever see of him. He sounds like the leader, but it's hard to say. He also looks like he has Sharingan eyes. Could he be the third one Itatchi told Sasuke about all those years ago?

Naruto just doens't seem like the type of manga that kills off its loved characters just like that... I mean they all survived fatal wounds in the sasuke rescue mission when we thought they were all finished. I'm sure theres some trick we haven't heard yet taht will revive him.

Lets think with our brain a second. Akatsuki knows that Orochimaru has Sasuke. Akatsuki hates Orochimaru. Not only that, but Itachi is in Akatsuki, and they know that Sasuke's existance is based around defeating Itachi. Why would Akatsuki employ Sasuke when A) They hate his mentor, and B) That Sasuke would constantly be trying to fight another member, his brother?

If anything, my guess is that Sasuke hasn't left the Sound Country base since he arrived there. Sasuke isn't the kind of person to mess around when he could gain more power instead.

Ok, I spent 5 hours this mourning reading over 100 chapters of Naruto so I could get up to date on the manga. I have to say I am quite impressed. It's quite an addicting series. I think the Sakura vs. Sasori fight is coming to a close soon. Sakura has gotten badass since the time jump. I can't wait to see the improvements other characters have made in that time. Naruto really hasn't showcased anything new as of yet, but there's still plenty of time.

This latest fight has dragged on a bit, but it hasn't been an entire volume, and there's been story parts between the fights. I dont think its right to compare it to DBZ juste yet. The fight will definately end in the next chapter.

Just caught up two days ago. My initial impressions are, Part 2 effing own the latter. I love the changes in maturity in the characters, they did a great job of making it seem like their have been 3 years of changes.

I dunno, I just expected in those years of training for Jiraya to teach Naruto to keep a bit more of a cool head during battles, and not freak out all the time. I could bear with it at first, but now his hotheadedness is getting somewhat annoying.

I am almost utterly sick of Naruto now. I mean, come on! Chapter 271 said, "Next Time, the Fight Ends!", and yet, they still drag it on with Chapter 272. Now Sakura's got about 100 puppets to fight, plus Sasori's still alive, and by all rights, should have been finished when Sakura punched him. But nooo, we gotta pull a stupid ressurection sequence. And probably the only way they'll kill him, is if they completely disintegrate him. They'll probably end up killing him 10 times before that happens. Then we probably happily get to watch dragged out fight scenes with the rest of the Akatsuki members. I have never seen a fight scene in Naruto this long before. It's really getting on my nerves. Even though this isnt filler, it sure isnt progressing the story much. The fight scene is just way too long. Sure I've wanted to see Sakura stronger, but I don't need to see her fight this long. Yeah, I know that some may say, "she's only been fighting for 8 or 9 chapters", but it just drags. It doesnt feel like it has much variety in it, and I'm just waiting for it to end. However, 8 chapters is over 2 months, so I've been seeing her fight for over 2 months. It's time to end it already.

I even forget his name, because I've grown so tired of the fight. It starts with an S, I think. That fight was drawn out way too long. I don't think it would have been as bad had I read it all in one big clump, but this is the first fight I've actually read on a week by week basis. I just hope this doesn't keep happening. Yep, he absolutely does have the Mangekyou Sharingan in the last panel. Remember, the incomplete Sharingan was a 2 dot pinwheel, the Regular Sharingan was 3 dots, and the Mangekyou Sharingan looks like a ninja star.

I have a question, how did he attain the Mangekyou sharingan? I wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, but I read somewhere that:

The Mangekyou Sharingan, literally Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye, is a higher form of the Uchiha clan Sharingan that is only achievable by natural users of the Sharingan, those who have Uchiha blood running through their veins, eliminating Kakashi from potential users. The Mangekyou Sharingan is not easy to obtain however for those who are not made of cold blood as they must make a tremendous sacrifice in order to obtain it, they must kill their best friend. To date only two people out of a possible three people have obtained this legendary eye, Uchiha Itachi and an unknown Uchiha ancestor.

So how did he? He wasn't a natural user, as the Kakashi Gaiden revealed and how possible is it for him to kill his best friend?(He talked about in Volume two about how "those who don't take care of their comrades are lower than trash." Unless there is another requirement to getting the Mangekyou. Or if he could possibly in some way be the 'unknown Uchiha ancestor'...but that, imo, seems unlikely because he had gotten the Sharingan implanted in him in the first place.

Hm...about the whole spy thing, this probably could be a way of having everyone meet up in the same place. Sakura most likely is going to be there. Who knows, if it has something to do with Sasori and the Akatsuki, Itachi and Kisame might show up as well, with the possibility of both Daidara and Sasori are dead. Naruto and Kakashi might make their way there, most likely if they defeat Daidara. And heck, because Sasuke's in Orochimaru's company, he might make a show there too. I guess the site is wrong. I mean, it's not like someone in Naruto said that you had to be a Uchiha to get the Mangekyou, and they never said you had to kill your best friend. Itachi just said that was how he got it. I'm guessing there's another way to do it, and I wouldn't be surprised if Sasuke figured it out as well. That's just my take on the situation though, and it does make things more interesting.

Hmm...I guess...but I looked at Itachi's Mangekyou(in 225) and Kakashi's Sharingan at the end of 275 and in Itachi's Mangekyou, the "commas" seemed to be blended all together more. Kakashi's eye at the end of 275 still has distinct commas, it didn't look like the Mangekyou in 225...unless there is a weaker form of the Mangekyou that Kakashi was able to wield....

I figured this would happen since she didnt get to do this jutsu on Sakura, since she wasnt dead. Also, I'm pretty sure that everyone will survive Deidara's blast. The only way someone could die/get injured, is if they sacrifice themselves for shrinking the blast by being in the way.

It's probably gone. Akatsuki needs to at least partially fullfill their plans to make the story interesting. Plus, I bet Gaara would be relieved to have the demon gone. It's not like he was ever friends with it. The only weird thing is if he loses the demon, it might affect how effectively he uses his sand powers.

Yeah, will he still be as strong? Will he lose his shield of the sand? Or maybe his regular powers will stay altogether and he'll only be rid of the demon. The only time he really used it's powers was when he transformed afterall.

I just read chapter 281. Not much has happened. Chiyo was buried, Naruto and Gaara shook hands, Kakashi got a piggyback ride from Gai, and there appears to be a new dark haired character at the end of the chapter. For a second, I thought it was Sasuke or Itachi, but it's too young to be Itachi. And he doesnt really look like Sasuke, unless he got his hair cut, and his face has changed a bit due to the 3 years. Otherwise, I'm more sure that it's a new guy. Maybe the spy?

I'm gonna guess that it's Sasuke (mainly out the fact that I've been itching to see Sasuke since the time jump ended and the new arc began...er...end random fangirl moment..). And it really doesn't look like Sasuke(if that is him) had his hair cut. He almost looks like a younger version of Itachi(with the hairstyle). However, I agree with what you said about his face, Jetfire...also it looks like he tamed his hair by leaps and bounds...those two could count him out as Sasuke. Still, there was also that thing the old guy said about him being near Naruto's age and the "strongest of his generation"(that could be coincidental, or a screw up of the scanlation, but I think something like that could be put in on purpse as a clue in figuring out his identity).

...but I won't disagree that one of them could be a spy...anyway, there goes my prediction, Sasuke is Sai...

I definitely dont think its Sasuke... my main piece of evidence is that hes wearing a Konoha headband... I seriously doubt that he would put one on again (it would be especially confusing)... I myself mistook him for Sasuke first before I did my rough translation of this horrible raw scan...

but I agree he definitely looks like an Uchiha... even though I thought the third user was Kakashi he could be it... but this definitely begs the question of whats next in the series, as what role could this guy play be it a major or minor one...

I just read Chapter 282. Awesome stuff. We finally get to see Shino, Kiba and Hinata after the 3 year jump. Shino looks completely badass with the black high collared jacket with hood, Akamaru is a full sized dog now (so he'll probably be more useful), Kiba doesnt look too different, and Hinata's outfit is cooler in some aspects, and she has longer hair.

I dunno. I thought Kiba looked a lot more plain than Shino. Just a normal black coat and pants. Shino's sunglasses are neater, if you look at it's coat, it's got a neat design to how it's buckled up, the coat's also black which relates to the dark and mysterious personality, and the hood makes him look more dark. As for Hinata, I think her hair was made like that to match Neji's hair. I liked her hair better the first way before as well. As for Akamaru, a lot of things work differently in the world of Naruto. Kiba got Akamaru as a puppy. I don't think his parents were planning to give him a dog that would stay so small forever. Kinda useless for a future chuunin/jounin.

In fact, it seems like all the previous genins are now wearing black.

Great to see a new arc, overall this was a good chap. One of the things I wanted to see most was the leaf gennin and it has finally happaned. Also, it should be easier to release a HQ version of this.

That's pretty wierd. I've seen virtually no Shino fanboys since I started reading Naruto a long time ago. Everyone that I've talked to would be indifferent or wouldnt care that much when it came to him. I saw way more Sasuke, Rock Lee and Neji fanboys. I wouldnt call myself a fanboy, but Naruto, Shino and Rock Lee are my favourite characters in the manga. I think Shino just has a certain coolness to him, and his techniques are completely different from about every other character (I guess Gaara is the only one that has somewhat similar techniques, since his sand has a blanket effect, like Shino's bugs). I also really want to know more of his background but the damn manga never tells me! haha

Hinata's hair was cooler when it was shorter. Ah well, at least her jacket is cooler now.

And I find it weird that Akamaru grew that big in 2 and a half years, when he stayed a puppy for 3 years. Also, while the new Akamaru may be stronger, I liked the old one better. Probably because whenever I see a puppy or a small dog, I'm instantly interested in it. Probably a cute factor in there. Although big dogs are cool too, but I guess I was just too used to seeing Akamaru as this innocent puppy.

Ah, well, the Shino fanboys are at forums like narutofan and they go on and on about how Shino could beat Neji, Gaara or Lee....basically anyone aside from Orochimaru at Itachi, and it starts to irritate me after a while. There's no doubt in my mind that Shino is an intelligent and skillful ninja, but there's a reason he wasn't considered one of the 'Leaf's Strongest Four' just like there's a reason he's not a jounin yet. His look is kinda cool though and the fact so little is known about him does add an attractive element of mystery.

Anyways, I think it's nice that they introduced some of the characters that have been dropped since before the sasuke chase arc back into the story. I really enjoyed seeing what they look like after the jump. Shino looks really cool. I'm a little dissapointed about Kiba though. He doesn't really look as cool as he used to. All he has now is an overgrown puppy. I don't really care for Hinata's hair though. I liked her with shorter hair myself.

Interesting compairson. The truth of the matter is that I LIKED Sasuke until the 'Rescue' Arc. His angst was amusing before that because it played off well with Naruto's open and honest personality. However there is one key difference between Batman and Sasuke, Batman will always be loyal to those he loves (as few as they are) he would never put avenging his family before Alfred, Barb or any of the Robins. It is because he lost so much that those who remain are extra precious to him. Sasuke, on the other hand, gained people who loved and accepted him after his parents' death, but he (quite literary in Naruto's case) spat all over their friendship when he was offered a chance to become stronger. You could argue that the Curse seal is manipulating him, as one of the Sound Four mentioned that you sacrifice your free will to them, but that doesn't explain Anko's ability to resist it. Though I suppose a case could be made that since Orochimaru doesn't want Anko anymore the Curse Seal has less influence...but anyway, going on what we know alone, Sasuke was willing to kill Naruto, his loving friend, in order to become stronger. Batman would never do such a thing (indeed Batman has that entire thing about not killing anyone, but that's a little different, ninja are expected to be able to kill some people) and therein lies the key difference between the two. Batman has limits to what he would do to complete his mission, Sasuke does not. He may have decided against killing Naruto in the end, but he was perfectly willing to off him only a few chapters earlier when he punched a hole through Naruto's chest.

That being said, Batman isn’t one of my favourite characters, I mean I like him enough, but he’s most amusing when he’s being played for laughs, like in Justice League International. As far as the Batman family goes I'm much more keen on the male Robins.

So...he thought the best way to 'defeat' Naruto was PUNCH A HOLE THROUGH HIM?! Seriously, that would have killed anyone else and Sasuke does not know about the Kyuubi (I think....) and he does not know the extent of its powers. As far as I can tell he meant to kill Naruto right there, but Naruto's healing ability kicked in. If I shoot you with the intent to kill, but fail to mortally wound you and then decide, while standing over your prone body, 'Nah, I don't really want to kill Senshi today' and wander off into the night that doesn't absolve me of attempt of murder. I would have killed you, I just missed your vitals. The same thing can be said of Sasuke, when he was dangling Naruto from his bloody fist after making a large hole in him I am pretty sure it was his intent to kill him, that he changed his mind later doesn't make what he tried to do any better.

It comes down to the fact that I don't like people who betray their friends. I don't doubt that Sasuke will redeem himself, that he'll set things right, but until he does I'm going to consider him a butthead. That doesn't mean I hate him though, I considered Gaara a butthead too when he first showed up, but he was still my favourite character, I just didn't approve of what he was doing.

Anyway, I don't consider the Batman comparison that apt in anything but levels of angstyness (Bruce needs a good slap upside the head once in a while). Batman would never even consider killing someone to become stronger, even if it was for a noble goal. Hell, in the current storyline he's giving Wonderwoman Hell for killing a man who was mind controlling Superman and killing people.

I just read 283. Not a whole lot happens. We see Shikamaru again, and Chouji for the first time since the time jump. Chouji's more useful, but I don't really like his looks. I mean, his stupid forehead protector before the time jump looked awful, but now he just looks like he transformed into a clone of his father, which feels unoriginal. Shikamaru's shadow needles were cool. It was good to see him have something new up his sleeve other than his only 2 techniques before the time jump. I also liked Sai's fighting style, which seemed very original. Using drawings that come to life.

Finally, I thought it was funny when Sai said "You're...pretty weak...do you actually have a penis?" That kinda surprised me, since I would have never expected this manga to have that type of joke. I wonder what theyre gonna do with the anime when it's dubbed, if they will sometimes edit out certain content from time to time.

I wouldn't say A LOT better. Naruto has a pretty decent dub. I don't like a lot of the voice actors they decided on, but for the most part as far as dubs go its done remarkably well. That said, if you're able to find the original Japanese episodes I do suggest picking them up, just to see the little edits and hear the original voices.

There's the whole "I'm a cocky bastard" look in them and plus, there is eventually some emotion...he goes from being serious and cocky to smiling and cocky (at the end). (though it isn't much emotion, there's still a little...>.<...and besides, one can learn to control their emotions, even if they had much emotion before).

And about the Konoha symbol, think about it. If you were a Konoha ninja who became a traitor, scratched your insignia and all, would you, if you were to spy/infiltrate your hometown as a member of an enemy group, wear (a) the original scratched forehead band, (b) wear the enemy insignia blazoned across your forehed, or (c) wear a brand spanking new forehead band?

Imo, the only thing that could count out Sai as Sasuke would be the whole date thingy of the meeting of the spy and all...but it this could all twist into that being just a ploy..

It's just, if Kishimoto was to have Sasuke appear again, I'd think now would be a good time to bring him back in, there's a slight lull and it looks like a great time to strike while the iron is hot and bring in something that will spice things up a little.

I don't see why. Orochimaru doesn't give a flip what Sasuke wants. On top of that, he's aware that Itachi would probably be the one to kill Sasuke, not the other way around, and again...there goes his vessel.

Sasuke wouldnt agree to it otherwise... and yeah that seal has some degree of power over him, but it doesnt affect his free choice... He would kill himself before letting Oro take over his body before getting his revenge...
Sakon explicitly said that the seal takes away free will. Deciding to go to Orochimaru was the last decision Sasuke made entirely on his own.

I agree with Illjwamh about the Sasuke/Sai theory. It's just not feasible that Orochimaru would allow Sasuke into that kind of environment. On a different note, it was refreshing to see some of the other cast members 3 years older. Three things I'm really looking forward to...

1. Gaara's ability after having Shukaku drawn out of him. How much weaker comparatively has he become?

2. The love interest that Hinata has for Naruto. Naruto hasn't seemed to have noticed it yet....

3. What annoying Sasukue looks like now.

oh well, I had some slight evidence to my theory...either that or my translation was screwy...I think there was something weird with my translation of 284...it kind of cut off after the whole thing where he sorta insulted Sakura(lol)...

But...I can't help but wonder, and maybe you can say it's because I won't let my Sasuke theory die, but couldn't Danzou have been working for an enemy of the leaf...like Orochimaru...because they talk about him being against the decisions of the Third and also about him forming a separate ANBU group...so, maybe then, Sai could still be Sasuke...though now that's probably a .1% chance...

Heh, it's funny how a stupid, random, highly unlikely thought that popped into my head and was expressed on this thread turned out to be such a big conspiracy. Sai isn't Sasuke. I only thought that he resembled him, and thought it'd be a neat plot twist if it was Sasuke. However, the manga creator can't make plot twists that unpredictable, so I knew it was highly unlikely.

Anyways, at least we get to see Ino. Although she kinda looks like she came off the street...
