What I look for in anime: What I look for in an anime: It's really simple. It just has to entertain me, whatever the genre and subject matter may be. Sure, technical merits are well and fine too, but it's all good as long as I enjoy watching it. Everything else is just gravy. After all, you watch anime to be entertained, right? Then that's what's most important.
