What I look for in anime: I search for an anime that can pull me into its world. Be it because of the characters, the story, the themes, I want something that holds me and drags me into its adventures, that makes me care for the characters and their destiny. Usually, this is accomplished by a good plot and deep characters, though I won't deny that style and atmosphere are always a big plus. I search for substance in anime. Of course, the more style to complement it, the better.
