What I look for in anime: One of the most important aspects of an anime is character development. The presence of captivating characters can elevate an anime to the next level of excellence and often make up for shortcomings in other areas. If I have no feelings towards the cast, the overall experience is less engrossing and less enjoyable. All facets of a character, including design, seiyuu performance and personality, are important in the creation of a well developed persona.
